Airport → Negombo

Day 01

Continue to Negombo's accommodation, where you may relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the beach city.

Activity: Arrive in Negombo; relax at the beach and explore local markets.

Negombo → Anuradhapura

Day 02

Visit Anuradhapura to visit the island's ancient ruins. Your day includes a bicycle trip to Anuradhapura. Take a peek at the Atamasthana, or Buddhist statues.

Activity: Bicycle tour of Anuradhapura, visiting ancient stupas and temples.

Anuradhapura → Polonnaruwa → Dambulla

Day 03

Visit Polonnaruwa and have a guided tour across the city, where you will view historic landmarks and magnificent scenery. As you stroll through the city's beautiful surroundings, you'll learn more about its fascinating surroundings. The well-renowned Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temples, will surprise you.

Activity: Bicycle exploration of Polonnaruwa, followed by an evening visit to the Dambulla Caves Temple.

Dambulla → Sigiriya → Kandy

Day 04

this well-known rock fortification, take in the peaceful surroundings and antique paintings adorning the summits. Continue your journey to Kandy, where you may tour the Sacred City and see the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a famed Buddhist temple. Enjoy ascending this well-known rock fortress while seeing the picturesque surroundings and antique artwork that grace its peaks. Proceed to Kandy, where you may view the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is respected by many different religions.

Activity: Morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, then visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.

Kandy → Knuckles Mountain Range

Day 05

On your second day in Kandy, explore the well-known Knuckles Mountain Range, which is a popular tourist hiking destination.

Activity: Full-day trek in the stunning Knuckles Mountain Range, enjoying breathtaking views.

Kandy → Nuwara Eliya

Day 06

A delightful journey to Nuwara Eliya, sometimes known as Little England, is what you should expect. The exhilarating splendour of the famed Ramboda Falls, where cascading streams flow among granite formations, will heighten the excitement. A trip to a neighbouring tea mill will allow you to witness the fascinating process of creating Ceylon tea.

Activity: Visit Ramboda WaterFalls and a tea factory, with an interactive tea plucking experience.

Nuwara Eliya

Day 07

As you spend your second day in Nuwara Eliya, prepare for an exciting excursion to Horton Plains, a big hidden gem among Sri Lanka's most recognized highlands. If your route includes a halt, you might arrive at the breathtaking Worlds End, a steep cliff with a spectacular plunge of around 4000 feet.

Activity: Early morning hike in Horton Plains, culminating at the dramatic World’s End viewpoint.

Nuwara Eliya → Nanu Oya → Ella → Udawalawe

Day 08

Take the most appealing rail route from Nanu Oya to Ella, which offers some of the most breathtaking scenery along the way. While travelling through the area, take in the breathtaking views of the Ravana Waterfalls.

Activity: Scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, stopping at Ravana WaterFalls along the way.

Udawalawe → Sinharaja

Day 09

Take the most appealing rail route from Nanu Oya to Ella, which offers some of the most breathtaking scenery along the way. While travelling through the area, take in the breathtaking views of the Ravana Waterfalls. Finally, visit Sinharaja to round up the day.

Activity: Morning jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park, famous for its elephants and wildlife.

Day 10

Continue exploring Sinharaja, the only rainforest on the island. A naturalist will show you the stunning splendour of the tropical forest. Furthermore, Sinhagala Rock is noted for providing stunning views of the jungle.

Day 11

Visit Galle and discover the city's rich architectural heritage. See the iconic Galle Dutch Fort, which was originally built for Portuguese usage and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 12 & 13

Spend two quiet days on the beach to unwind. Swim in the Indian Ocean, explore the neighbouring markets, or simply relax at your beachside hotel. Optional activities include observing whales in Mirissa and biking through surrounding communities.
