Airport → Negombo

Day 01

Make sure you get comfortable in your accommodation as soon as you get to Negombo. Take a day trip to the beach or explore the town's Dutch canals, colonial buildings and vibrant fish market.

Activity: Arrival and check-in at your hotel in Negombo. Relax and unwind.

Negombo → Kandy

Day 02

When you visit Kandy, take a walk around the city. See the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a Buddhist shrine of great renown known to the locals as Sri Dalada Maligawa. Next head to the Royal Botanical Gardens. Their abundance in agriculture may help you identify them. Explore the bustling local markets and take a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake. Watch a performance of the Kandyan dance at night.

Kandy → Sigiriya

Day 03 & 04

Make your way to Sigiriya and relax in your accommodation. A thrilling hike to Sigiriya Rock, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, should begin the following morning. The famous enormous lion paws guard the stairs on the summit which was once the location of the monarch's home. In the afternoon take an exhilarating jeep safari through Minneriya National Park which is home to the largest population of seasonal elephant gatherers in the world. After that, continue east to investigate the former city's ruins.

Activity: Climb the ancient Sigiriya Rock Fortress, go on a Jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, and enjoy a traditional village tour.

Day 05 & 06

At Pigeon Island Marine National Park dive into adventure and discover a variety of marine life and vibrant coral reefs. Following that, relax on the fine sands of Nilaveli Beach and enjoy the serene waterfront setting. Go there to learn more about the religious and cultural significance of the historic Koneswaram Temple which is perched on a cliff with a view of the ocean.

Activity: Dive at Pigeon Island Marine National Park and explore the underwater beauty, Visit Koneswaram Temple and spend the day relaxing on the beach.

Nilaveli → Pasikuda

Day 07 & 08

Spend a few days relaxing on Pasikuda's breathtaking beaches. Unwind, enjoy the serene shoreline view and soak up the sun. Enjoy water sports like kayaking or snorkelling while monitoring the coral reefs in the area.

Day 09 & 10

Arugam Bay is the perfect spot to catch some waves or take in the serene coastal scenery regardless of your level of surfing experience.

Day 11

Set out on an exciting safari in Yala National Park which is well-known for its elephants, leopards and other numerous natural worlds. Take inside the breathtaking surroundings as you travel through untamed regions and see flora and fauna in its native environment.

Day 12 & 13

Learn about the Galle Dutch Fort, a fortification featuring buildings from the colonial era. Then to see these incredible creatures up close go whale watching. Taking a cooking class in Sri Lanka will allow you to sample the local cuisine and discover the flavours of Ceylon.

Unawatuna → Colombo

Day 14

Discover the colourful metropolis of Colombo wherein the past and present collide. Take advantage of a guided city excursion that forestalls at well-known sites like the Gangaramaya Temple, the lively Pettah Market and the community of the historic Colombo Fort. Spend some time surfing neighborhood cafes purchasing trinkets or admiring Colombo's thriving culinary and artistic scenes before wrapping up your journey to Sri Lanka.
